Don Lemon Calls for More Violence: “Get a Gun” If ICE Comes to Your Door

Seriously, what is wrong with former CNN host Don Lemon? The guy is losing his mind.

Lemon is facing warranted backlash after telling Black and Brown Americans to legally arm themselves in case ICE agents come to their doors. During a live broadcast, Lemon said he was “tired of the niceties” and suggested the Second Amendment exists for situations like this.

“Black and Brown people need to get a gun legally. Go get your permit, go get your license, and learn how to use it,” Lemon said. “Because if ICE shows up at your door, you should be able to protect yourself and your family.”

What the heck is Lemon talking about? If ICE shows up at someone’s door, should they shoot at federal agents?

Lemon claimed he was not promoting violence, but he obviously was. His remarks quickly drew strong criticism from sane-minded people, law enforcement advocates, and even some fellow journalists. Many said his rhetoric was reckless and could put federal officers at risk.

“Words have consequences,” one Department of Homeland Security official told Fox News, warning that statements like these could encourage hostility toward immigration agents already facing growing threats in the field.

Lemon’s comments feed into the false narrative that ICE agents target innocent people. These agents are enforcing existing laws, and encouraging people to arm themselves during enforcement actions could lead to tragedy on both sides. Lemon is outrageously unhinged with this rhetoric.

The controversy comes amid a heated national debate over immigration enforcement and border policy in which Democrats continue spreading lies and falsehoods that ICE and the Trump administration are randomly targeting “innocent citizens” based on skin color. Lemon’s remarks, stated plainly on video and widely shared online, have drawn calls for accountability, something Democrats rarely take.

Charlie Kirk was murdered just over a month ago. Political violence being stoked by the left is an ongoing problem, and Lemon should know better.

Does Lemon think ICE agents need to die so his political view can prevail? Sounds familiar.
