New Reuters Poll: Biden Approval Plummets to Record Low of 36%

The numbers are too gruesome to believe, honestly, perhaps this poll is an outlier? Then again, the trend hasn’t been good for Biden in the month of May.

With ongoing inflation records set monthly, a baby formula shortage for which the Biden administration, and the FDA, are taking a lot of blame, and record gas prices to boot.

With all that being said, hide the children because these numbers from Reuters/Ipsos are graphic:

President Biden’s approval rating fell to 36 percent in a Reuters-Ipsos poll released Tuesday, marking its lowest point to date in that particular poll.

The low point for Biden in the Reuters poll came less than a week after he hit a new low in the Associated Press poll, which found the president’s approval rating sat at 39 percent.

Both polls reflect a consistent trend of Biden’s approval rating mired in the high 30 percent to low 40 percent range in recent months. The president has been hampered by rising costs, which have been exacerbated by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

We touched on the Associated Press poll days ago, another gruesome record low for Biden hitting just 39% approval.

What changed in recent weeks that has Biden taking a nosedive in approval numbers? Republicans have long since abandoned the failing president. Independents also see through this administration as divisive and uncaring about the lives of average Americans.

It’s Democrats that are starting to peel away in high numbers:

In a sign of weakening enthusiasm among Democrats, Biden’s approval rating within his own party fell to 72% from 76% the prior week. Only 10% of Republicans approve of his job in office.

That is a similar situation the AP poll found days ago as well. Democrats are starting to have serious doubts about the Biden presidency and the direction of the country. Whether it’s the economy, foreign policy, domestic policy, or simply Biden’s inability to get anything done in Congress, this is a presidency on the brink of colossal failure.

For a more visual idea of the situation, here’s the Biden approval rating chart from January of 2021 until now via Reuters:

The sharp uptick in disapproval, now up to 59%, says that voters must be losing patience with this president. It’s been one crisis after another, and this administration doesn’t seem to be able to get in front of or solve any of them.

The baby formula situation has been brewing for months, yet the FDA and Biden administration sat by and did nothing while it got worse, brushing off the concern as some kind of “right-wing” attack against the president. From recent testimony, it’s now a known fact that the FDA was aware of a potential issue since December of 2021 yet did little to avert the current crisis.

Once again, an issue that the Biden administration laughed off like nothing was wrong until it reached crisis mode. The same way it operates on issues like the southern border and in Afghanistan. There’s nothing wrong, they say, until the whole thing is on fire. Then they swoop in quietly and try to put out the flames and stop journalists from asking questions.

At this point, Biden’s whole presidency is on fire and everyone in the country knows it.
