Off the Rails: 6 in 10 Americans Say Biden Failing on Nation’s Most Important Issues

This unsurprising fact coming from a new CNN poll finding confidence in the Brandon administration — excuse me — the Biden administration is hitting new lows. When asked if Biden is focusing on the issues American’s care about or directly affect them, almost 60% say Biden is focused on the wrong things and not paying attention to the issues that matter most.

While his energy secretary laughs about gas prices, his transportation secretary talks about racist bridges, and the labor force buckles under the President’s vaccine mandate, Biden continues to ignore the problems right in front of him causing Americans to suffer. In some ways, it feels like punishment.

Once again, the week-to-week trainwreck of Biden scandals and incompetence started in July and simply hasn’t let up. The latest findings see Americans’ trust in government hitting new lows, and Biden keeps digging the hole deeper:

One year out from the 2022 midterm elections, 58% of Americans say President Joe Biden hasn’t paid enough attention to the nation’s most important problems, as a majority disapproves of the way he’s handling his job as President, according to a new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS.

More than a third of Americans call the economy the most pressing problem facing the country (36%). Among the group that sees it that way, 72% say Biden hasn’t been attentive to the right issues.

Hitting a mark of 60% saying Biden is focused on the wrong things includes a lot of Democrats and independents, a number that Congressional Democrats from swing districts are surely nervous over. The tone-deaf administration rolls on day after day ignoring real problems while essentially blaming the American people for complaining too much.

With morons like Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm in your administration, is it really a shocker to see Americans this disgusted with Biden’s response to everything from gas prices to groceries?

Watch the utter scorn for even being asked about rising energy prices:

That is hilarious that you would ask if Americans can expect any coherent plan regarding gas prices! How funny you should even ask me, the Secretary of Energy, about domestic energy production! I have no clue what I’m doing!

The “let them eat cake” attitude persists, and it’s getting old. If Democrats learned nothing from Virginia, where Terry McAuliffe spent six months demeaning and laughing at parents, perhaps they deserve to keep failing until they lose next November and Congress changes hands.

Biden’s looking at a shellacking next year if these numbers continue among his own party voters:

The connection between perception of the top issue and views on whether Biden has had the right priorities is strong, and even among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents, the share saying Biden has had the wrong priorities climbs to 42% among those who call the economy the top problem, compared with 17% among those who consider the coronavirus the top problem.

With vaccines plentiful, and new treatment drugs on the horizon, Americans are done with Covid running their lives. The Biden administration hasn’t realized that yet which is why they’re intent on firing everyone who hasn’t submitted to their vaccine maximalist goal of shots in every arm. They are on the wrong path, and Americans know it.

The Biden administration continues to be a disaster, and the ongoing supply chain crisis will continue getting worse. The economy is limping along and will be buoyed by holiday spending, but it won’t be enough to truly send growth in the right direction next year. This president is surrounded not by competent cabinet members but by misguided social justice warriors bent on pushing woke politics rather than solving problems that affect Americans.

America should be the energy superpower of the planet, yet we’re now back to rising fuel costs because of an administration filled with incompetent elitists.
