The debate will follow a traditional format beginning with one-minute opening statements from each candidate. A coin toss before the event will determine which candidate gets the first introduction or first response.

Folbaum will be joined by a panel of journalists from across Georgia, including Atlanta News First statewide reporter Abby Kousouris, WTVM anchor Roslyn Giles, WRDW investigative reporter Will Rioux, WTOC anchor Mike Cihla, WALB reporter Moriah Norman and Telemundo Atlanta anchor Adhemar Montagne.

Viewers can also stream the debate through station websites, the WTOC app and connected TV platforms including Roku, Apple TV and Fire TV.

Ossoff is seeking a second term in the Senate after winning his seat in the 2021 runoff election, while Collins is trying to return the seat to Republican control. The two candidates have spent much of the campaign focused on the economy, immigration, abortion, federal spending and control of the Senate.

Georgia remains one of the most closely watched states in national politics after a series of narrow presidential and Senate contests over the past several election cycles.
