The second Republican presidential primary debate took place Wednesday night on the Fox Business Network, live from the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California.

Which candidates are attending?
There will be seven candidates on stage for the second GOP debate. Former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson failed to meet the qualifying standards and will be left off the stage. Former President Donald Trump easily qualified for the second debate but has chosen not to attend and will instead deliver a primetime speech during the debate.
How did candidates qualify?
Qualifying Standards:
• 3% in two national polls, or 3% in one national poll and 3% in two polls conducted from separate early nominating states (Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada)
• 50,000 unique donors, with at least 200 unique donors from at least 20 states or territories
History of Reagan Library Debates
The second GOP debate will take place at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, which has become a must-visit venue for such events according to RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
The library has hosted many other Republican primary debates over the years, including the debates for in 2008, 2012, and 2016.

The third Republican presidential debate will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 8 in Miami.
