BREAKING: Trump Reveals Plan for ‘Big Announcement’ Coming Nov. 15

As we touched on briefly in the write-up on former President Donald Trump’s Save America rally in Dayton, the tease of a possible 2024 announcement had been dropped during the Sunday rally in Miami. Trump, when speaking of a “probable” 2024 presidential run, told his audience to “stay tuned” for Monday night. What he meant was anyone’s guess, but the plans have now been revealed.

While speaking on Monday night in Ohio, a day before Election Day to bring the 2022 midterms to an end, Trump revealed plans for a special announcement set for Nov. 15 at Mar-a-Lago, a nod to a likely presidential campaign launch in just over a week:

Former President Donald Trump appeared on stage at his political rally with J.D. Vance in Dayton just after 8 p.m.

During his speech, Trump announced he plans to make a “big announcement” Tuesday, Nov. 15 in Mar-a-Lago.

Many anticipate this will be the announcement to run for president in 2024.

He also spoke on issues of immigration and inflation and endorsed Vance.

During the Ohio rally, the last of Trump’s stops before Election Day, he made the point that his plans shouldn’t take away from the various candidates he has endorsed and from the important battle for Congress.

As Trump has pointed out time and time again, he has continued to top the polls among GOP primary voters both nationally and in the early primary states. If Trump wants the nomination, barring any unforeseen serious legal troubles, it’s basically his for the taking. That doesn’t mean he would walk in unopposed, there are several other Republicans who have signaled an intention to run for higher office and will likely seek the presidential nomination at some point. The question is whether that would be in 2024, 2028, or sometime further down the road.

Part of what Trump’s impending plans also do is make the Justice Department’s ongoing investigation into classified material being stored at Mar-a-Lago more politically charged than ever. Now every move investigators make must be considered by the Attorney General through the lens of election tampering, something that the FBI and other parts of the Justice Department have had a terribly inconsistent record with in recent cycles.

Following Trump’s “big announcement” tonight, expect a flurry of campaign events to come after Election Day as Trump works to clear the field and try to unify the party before anyone else can even get out of the gate with their presidential pants on. Perhaps the next question is what will Democrats do? Will Joe Biden announce his intention to seek a second term or will this force an acceleration of finding a replacement to run in 2024?

This is a developing story and will be updated with more details as they become available. Stay tuned.
