Birx Bombshell: Overplayed Covid Vaccines Were Not Going to Protect Against Infection

Really? You don’t say!

Despite arguments to the contrary even today, vaccines were sold as the absolute be-all and end-all for the Covid-19 pandemic. Whether from Dr. Fauci during the Trump or Biden administration, vaccinations were the silver bullet to officially and permanently end the scourge of Covid-19, no questions asked.

In the early summer months of 2021, before the Delta variant, President Biden assured the country that getting vaccinated would prevent any infection from Covid-19, a message that had been repeated and permeated for months throughout media and academic circles.

Then reality hit and suddenly even vaccinated individuals were getting “breakthrough” infections from a mutating virus that had no problem evading vaccine immunity. In response, the Biden administration doubled down and ordered a vaccine mandate in late 2021 for businesses with 100 or more employees.

This week, during an interview with Fox’s Neil Cavuto, Dr. Deborah Birx dropped a bombshell that most people already knew but were also afraid to say back during the early days of the Covid-19 vaccination drives:

Birx is still very much pro-vaccination for Covid-19, as you can hear above, especially for senior citizens, but the admission that vaccines were overplayed comes as a slap in the face to anyone forced out of a job over the false belief that being vaccinated somehow would fully prevent transmission in the workplace.

Where was Birx when the overriding view, leading to Biden’s employer vaccine mandate in the Fall of 2021, was forcing workers to accept a drug, essentially, if they wanted to keep their jobs?

There was never a shred of tempered talk concerning the efficacy of vaccines in preventing infection. It was full steam ahead and don’t ask questions. That was the official policy of the CDC, FDA, and every other government agency endlessly pushing the Covid-19 vaccine on every man, woman, child, and everything in between.

Another issue not addressed has been the question of heart issues, particularly myocarditis among young and healthy individuals. Will Birx and others address those problems or is this simply being tossed in the “don’t ask questions” category as well?

Writing in Business World, Jemy Gatdula asks the tougher questions in light of Birx’s statement that the vaccines were overplayed:

Interesting statements amidst the many reports, both here and abroad, of somewhat healthy young people suddenly dropping dead. Oftentimes from heart or blood related issues.

In this regard, one particular study (“Age and sex-specific risks of myocarditis and pericarditis following COVID-19 messenger RNA vaccines,” Stéphane Le Vu, et al, June 2022) seems particularly relevant:

“Cases of myocarditis and pericarditis have been reported following the receipt of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. As vaccination campaigns are still to be extended, we aimed to provide a comprehensive assessment of the association, by vaccine and across sex and age groups. Using nationwide hospital discharge and vaccine data, we analyzed all 1,612 cases of myocarditis and 1,613 cases of pericarditis that occurred in France in the period from May 12, 2021 to Oct. 31, 2021.”

Are the conditions rare? Yes, but how rare seems to be another unknown question. Doesn’t matter, get vaccinated and we’ll figure it out later.

Later is now for many people who ended up suffering some kind of vaccine side-effect, some with long-lasting effects.

The point here is not to harp on vaccines or discourage anyone from getting vaccinated against Covid-19, individuals should choose what’s best for them in their situation. The point is to provide information and transparency about what government doctors know and what they choose to share with the public.

Birx is likely trying to clear her conscience of some of this stuff she was simply never able to express in the environment of 2020 or 2021. Now, safely into 2022 when the public panic has softened, she can come clean with her personal view that “she knew” the vaccine wasn’t going to protect against infection but she went along with the sales presentation anyway.

Where were these concerns and warnings during the height of the panic?
