Biden: My Border Disaster Is Going Better Than Expected

When did Joe Biden become Baghdad Bob?

As if the situation wasn’t bad enough at the U.S. southern border, President Biden seems either ill-informed or is simply lying about the man-made humanitarian disaster he’s presiding over.

On Sunday, while biking near his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, the President was asked by a reporter how he thought things were going at the border.

His response? Listen, Jack, they’re going better than anyone expected!

President Biden on Sunday was asked to assess the state of the U.S.-Mexico border after the expiration of pandemic era policy Title 42 last week.

“Much better than you all expected,” Biden said when asked by reporters during a bike ride near his vacation home in Rehoboth, Delaware.

Also, the President has no plans to visit the border since that would be “disruptive” to the extremely neat and orderly process happening there right now:

It’s like an answer from the Soviet Ministry of Truth. “Things are great there, pay no attention to the total fiasco happening on a monthly basis before your very eyes.”

Things have gotten so bad for Biden with regard to the border that even Andrew Cuomo, the disgraced former Governor of New York, sees the light:

The Democratic gov claimed the Dem prez’s approach is wreaking more havoc than GOP former President Donald Trump’s policy, “which was a more controlled border.

“This is just mayhem,” New York’s former top pol said of the US-Mexico border mess, which is crippling New York City and other US urban centers with its flood of migrants.

“Before you invite everyone into the country, you have to know that you have the resources to handle it, ” Cuomo told radio host John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM’s “Cats Roundtable” show.

It’s not just Cuomo, he’s the least of Biden’s critics.

Democratic mayors around the country are also dumping on the White House for leaving them in an untenable situation of nearly siding with Republicans:

Republicans just gained an unlikely ally in their attacks on the president’s immigration policies: the Democratic mayor of New York, for centuries a beacon to migrants seeking a new home in America.

GOP leaders lit up this month after hearing New York City Mayor Eric Adams say President Joe Biden had “failed” the city on immigration. New York, Adams said, “is being destroyed by the migrant crisis.”

What is Biden pointing to when he says “It’s going much better than any of you expected.” Maybe it could’ve been far worse with the end of Title 42 but since it wasn’t as bad as the worst-case scenario, things are going great! There is little evidence to support the fantasy from this administration concerning the border situation.

There’s no spinning this issue as anything short of abject failure on the part of the Biden administration. Since his inauguration day in 2021, Biden has voiced an “open-door” policy from the White House toward the southern border. Sure, they’ll half-heartedly say things like, “the border is closed,” then with a wink and nod, they’ll continue the catch-and-release operation they’ve been doing for years now.

Border states and towns are bearing the brunt but the situation is spilling into major cities around the country.

When will voters decide to hold Biden to account?
