The Star of the Night: Sarah Huckabee Sanders

The star of the night was not The President of the United States, he bumbled and fumbled his way through that address as we all expected, but instead a familiar face, a young governor from Arkansas, Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Wasting no time she made it abundantly clear that Joe was too old and it was time for younger leadership.

‘At 40, I’m the youngest governor in the country. At 80, he’s the oldest president in American history,’ ‘I’m the first woman to lead my state. He’s the first man to surrender his presidency to a woke mob that can’t even tell you what a woman is.’

She continued by leaning into culture wars, pinning him as ‘radical left,’ teaching children to ‘hate one another on account of their race.’

‘Whether Joe Biden believes this madness or is simply too weak to resist it, his administration has been completely hijacked by the radical left,’ Sanders states. ‘The dividing line in America is no longer between right or left. The choice is between normal or crazy.’

Sanders has been busy in her first month as governor, banning the word ‘LatinX’ and signing an EO to eradicate CRT from Arkansas state school curriculum, sending a message to the parents of her state that she hears their worries and concerns.

You may have noticed that during The State of The Union, there was a lack of any acknowledgment from our President toward the Chinese spy balloon that hovered above the United States for a week.

Sanders laid into the president’s ‘refusal to stand to China,’ calling it ‘dangerous and unacceptable.’

Little did the speechwriters for Sanders know that the President would outright ignore the spy balloon story but it was almost predictable for this administration. Biden continues to show weakness to our adversaries and stopped just short of praising China for being a strong global competitor offering little to no response to the breach of national sovereignty.

‘President Biden is unwilling to defend our border, defend our skies, and defend our people. He is unfit to serve as commander in chief,’ she said.

‘And while you reap the consequences of their failures, the Biden administration seems more interested in woke fantasies than the hard reality Americans face every day,’ she continued. ‘Most Americans simply want to live their lives in freedom and peace, but we are under attack in a left-wing culture war we didn’t start and never wanted to fight.’

The GOP, for as misguided as they’ve been, should be given credit for choosing Sanders, Donald Trump’s former press secretary, who spoke to the nation on a daily basis. She was able to deliver the rebuttal with clarity. She also lacked any tone of condescension leaving her coming off as the one in touch with reality compared to the old man yelling about Hotel resort fees in the House Chamber.

For once, the GOP got it right by providing a clear contrast between the path to socialism and government control, and the path to the next generation of freedom and prosperity. Sanders has a bright future ahead as her political career is just getting started.
