Biden’s Closing Argument: Democracy Dies if Evil MAGA Republicans Win

Doesn’t this guy have anything else to say? Since August when he stood before Independence Hall draped in blood-red lighting ranting about “MAGA Republican” forces, Biden has been stuck on dividing and insulting half the country that disagrees with his warped vision for America.

We’re days from an election where his party is now forecasted to lose the House and the Senate thanks to his policy failures during the first two years of his first term. Biden is nothing more than a buck-passer and demagogue on every issue that floats his way. It’s never his fault, it’s never been his fault, and if you vote Republican on Election Day, you’re voting to kill off whatever is left of American democracy.

This is not the message that voters are responding to but it’s the only message the White House sees fit to deliver:

While candidates and voters have focused on economic and other issues, Mr. Biden sought to use a nationally televised evening speech to put the future of the nation’s system of elections front and center for the final days of debate before midterm elections on Tuesday that will determine control of Congress and numerous state offices.

“As I stand here today, there are candidates running for every level of office in America — for governor, Congress, attorney general, secretary of state — who won’t commit, they will not commit to accepting the results of the elections that they’re running in,” Mr. Biden said at Union Station, just blocks from where a mob stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to disrupt the transfer of power. “This is the path to chaos in America. It’s unprecedented. It’s unlawful. And it’s un-American.”

The path to chaos in America began during the riots of 2020 when city after city was being burned down and people like Joe Biden sat by watching and saying nothing. People were murdered in the name of racial justice and entire city blocks were taken over by armed, left-wing vigilantes and Joe Biden said nothing. Actual violence is the threat to democracy, not ideas or concerns over voter fraud.

As Biden said on Tuesday, every election is a “drive off the cliff election.” Voting Republican, according to Biden, means something bad happens:

Inflation, healthcare, and the economy are of little concern for the President, but if you don’t vote Democrat, you’ll never vote again. It’s over-the-top hyperbole and a self-fulfilling prophecy. People think democracy is at stake because people like Biden tell them it’s at stake. It’s manipulative fear-mongering and it’s wrong.

The ultimate irony in Biden’s garbage remarks happened as he talked about so-called “election deniers” and then proceeded to say that he would become an “election denier” if Republicans win big on Tuesday:

While Mr. Biden excoriated Republicans who deny the legitimacy of elections, he once suggested that he too might not accept the results of this year’s vote if policies he deemed restrictive of the right to vote were enacted by Republican states. “It all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the election,” he said at a news conference in January.

The biggest lie of the past two years was that Joe Biden would be some kind of unifying force who would turn the political temperature down. He has been the opposite on every issue and has never wasted an opportunity to call his opponents racist election-denying MAGA terrorists or whatever he mangles together.

Remember when Biden agreed with the sentiment that Trump was an “illegitimate president” and “best friends with Vlad”:

All of that is disproven nonsense yet Biden nods along and offers to hire this shrill, divisive person as his Vice President. Maybe it was Kamala Harris, we can’t see since she’s off-camera.

The point in all this is that Democrats enjoy tearing people down, erecting barriers of division and hate, and vilifying anyone who supports traditional values as some kind of democracy-hating terrorist.

That is Biden’s final closing argument to midterm voters who seem prepared to send his party packing from the House and Senate. What could have been a term of unity turned into a term of vilification and hatred from the Command in Chief toward anyone and everyone who ever voted for Donald Trump or doesn’t agree with Biden’s policies.

This fact coupled with Biden’s embarrassingly awful performance as President for two years is why his party is set to lose big on Election Day. It’s why Americans simply aren’t ready to reward Democrats with continued control of Congress. In short, they’re calling Biden’s democracy bluff.
