Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee held a second edition of his Presidential Forum on Saturday evening with five GOP candidates choosing to participate. The forum was held in South Carolina focusing on next Saturday’s primary.

Original Air Time: Saturday, January 14 at 8pm ET on Fox News

Participants: Romney, Huntsman, Santorum, Gingrich, Perry (Ron Paul was invited but decided not to attend)

Report from KGO-TV:

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich said Saturday that Republicans will err if they don’t scrutinize Mitt Romney’s role in a private equity firm called Bain Capital.

Gingrich, the former House speaker, said President Barack Obama will hammer away at Bain if Romney is the nominee this fall.

“I don’t see how you can expect us to have a presidential campaign in which an entire sector is avoided,” Gingrich said on a Fox News program that included five of the six Republican candidates. Each fielded South Carolina voters’ questions for almost 20 minutes.

Many Republican and conservative leaders have rebuked Gingrich for criticizing Romney’s role at Bain. The private equity firm had a mixed record of job-creation at the companies it restructured in the 1980s and `90s.

Program host Mike Huckabee, who ran for president in 2008, gently reprimanded Gingrich for citing Romney by name. The candidates appeared separately, never confronting each other. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas did not participate.

The South Carolina GOP primary is Jan. 21.

Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, said he wants the federal government “out of the housing business” so the free market can work. Mortgage interest payments should remain tax-deductible, he said.

    • Most IMPORTANT — bombard with e-mails and phone calls Newt, Santorum and Perry — telling them they need to DROP OUT NOW! Having no chance — they are only hurting America by taking away air-time from Ron Paul’s message of TRUTH!

Find these 3’s laggards info — and keep sending this demand!

Still the main media is doing a “black out” (near non-coverage) of Ron Paul — since his message of telling the Truth is the bane for the ones that want to control us. The only way the media can be forced to allot more time to the only Patriot running for the Presidency — Ron Paul — is for the bottom runners (Newt, Santorum and Perry) to end their petty selfishness of trying to be elected (since clearly they have no chance) and do what’s best for the country — drop out immediately after SC. Thus, Ron Paul’s message of Truth will have a near equal coverage NOW, and not later, when the inevitable one-on-one vs Mitt occurs.

Also, Ron Paul should state the following (thus endearing himself even more to the American People): “Hey, I know I’m not a polished speaker — unlike my opponents, who sound like professional orators. But, I trust the people to decide for substance over fancy talk.”

Worth remembering is that our Nation was designed to be the ideal Republic as described by Plato (the only fair government system that represents ALL the people — not most, or some — BUT ALL). And only Ron Paul stands for this.

Seems newscasters need a refreshment course on Plato’s Republic. Over two eons later his tennents still hold true — but nearly all are ignorant as to why we are degrading further into a state of Government Tyranny!

Plato paraphrased from Wiki to save space:

Regimes that exist in reality and tend to degrade successively into each other: timocracy, oligarchy (also called plutocracy), democracy and tyranny (also called despotism).

      Timocracy:

Socrates defines a timocracy as a government ruled by people who love honor and are selected according to the degree of honor they hold in society.

      Oligarchy:

These temptations create a confusion between economic status and honor which is responsible for the emergence of oligarchy. In Book VIII, Socrates suggests that wealth will not help a pilot to navigate his ship. This injustice divides the rich and the poor, thus creating an environment for criminals and beggars to emerge. The rich are constantly plotting against the poor and vice versa.

      Democracy:

As this socioeconomic divide grows, so do tensions between social classes. From the conflicts arising out of such tensions, democracy replaces the oligarchy preceding it. The poor overthrow the inexperienced oligarchs and soon grant liberties and freedoms to citizens. A VISUALLY APPEALING DEMAGOGUE is soon lifted up to protect the interests of the lower class. However, with too much freedom, the people become drunk, and tyranny takes over.

      Tyranny:

The excessive freedoms granted to the citizens of a democracy ultimately leads to a tyranny, the furthest regressed type of government. These freedoms divide the people into three socioeconomic classes: the dominating class, the elites and the commoners. Tensions between the dominating class and the elites cause the commoners to seek out protection of their democratic liberties. They invest all their power in their democratic demagogue, who, in turn, becomes corrupted by the power and becomes a tyrant with a small entourage of his supporters for protection and absolute control of his people.

  1. Where was Ron Paul? In order to form a correct opinion on whom I should vote for I would like to see ALL the candidates not just the ones you pick and choose. Why is he excluded? Is it because his message is about challenging the status quo? This should be newsworthy, someone who is bucking the establishment. You are just the reason why he is becoming so popular, establishment hacks, trying to blot him out. Shame on you!

    • It said at the beginning, he was in Nevada campaigning and was invited, but he declined. I support Ron Paul 2012 but people making comments like that one make us all look dumb.

    • He did not attend by his own choosing. They mention this in the first five minutes if you had watched. Don’t further the negative stereotypes of Ron Paul supporters by automatically jumping to conspiracy as your answer. Conspiracies exist, but far less than you would suggest

  2. I think Ron Paul didn’t attend because this debate was recorded and not live. It would probably be useless for Paul to show up seeing as Fox isn’t a big fan of his. He may have been censored and what not by Fox. Ron Paul is one smart cookie. RON PAUL 2012!

    • Also, worth noting:

40,000 New Laws for 2012 — was the heading the day before end of 2011.

None of the Democrooks or the wannabe Republicons said a word of what this actually means!

Only Ron Paul knew the meaning — 40,000 (forty thousand!) more new things the government prohibits you from having the freedom to do this year, and from now on!… (on top of the millions of other ones you are not allowed to do for the many decades such NEGATIVE Laws were passed in previous years)!

Can anyone name a dozen notable Positive Laws passed in the last decade (meaning: Yes, we the US Government trust You, the US Citizen, to have the Freedom to do this….!) — I doubt it… but 40,000 MORE Negative FEDERAL Laws are in force this year — meaning NO — we, the Government will FORCE you, by penalty of Fines or Incarceration, YOU the US Citizen, in 40,000 new ways from exercising these particular freedoms!

And these NEGATIVE Laws are a THOUSAND TIMES compounded on the State level, County, City, Burroughs, even neighborhoods!

It is amazing that the supposedly erudite Media lack the education, or are simply told by their bosses, NOT to state what the Great Roman Cicero warned nearly 2000 years ago — The more Laws a Nation has, the less Justice the Citizens will have!(by inference — less Freedom)!

That as of now we have lost most of our Liberty is obvious — since one can name Hundreds of Thousands of Negative Laws that The State tells us NOT TO DO upon penalty!
And no-one can show Positive Laws passed that are even a minute fraction of this Travesty perpetrated by the Ones in Power against the American People!

So, Ron Paul says: Respect the US Constitution! Which if anyone can remember is all about Positive Laws — You have the FREEDOM to do this, and this, and that….

No one else is saying a word about his crucial issue!

  3. Who cares where Ron Senile Paul is. He doesnt have a chance. He is wasting everybodys time with his idiotic views. Obama would eat him for lunch and dinner and then spit him out. People need to wake up and get serious about someone who has a chance or you will be facing 4 more years of this crap… Wake up America

    • You can disagree with his views and still have my respect, as many of my republican friends do. But if you call his views idiotic, then you sir are neurotic for you are so self righteous in your own opinions that you forget to think critically

    • If Ron Paul doesn’t have a chance, then why is he polling better than all the rest of the candidates except Romney? Paul and Romney are also the only two candidates within the margin of error on national polls against Obama. In several states most of the other candidates aren’t even on the ballot. In Virginia it’s looking like Romney and Paul will be the only candidates on the ballot. You don’t have to like Ron Paul or vote for him, but to claim that he doesn’t have a chance and act like he isn’t coming in among the top 3 in almost every poll from every state really shows a lack of understanding on your part.

      • I like it when republicans start treating other republicans the same way they treat everyone else. This indicates the lack of respect regressives have for anyone that disagrees with their single sidedness.

Open your horizons, there’s a whole universe of thought out there and your limiting yourself to that narrow slice.

I’m a conservative Democrat and I will be voting for Doc Paul if he’s the Republican candidate. Otherwise, I’m back with Barrack. Paul most likely hasn’t a chance with the way the Republican machine and their media ignore him.

    • Just because the sell outs of the mainstream media says Ron Paul doesn’t have a chance of winning, doesn’t make it so. I would hope that our votes matter and anyone would have a fair chance. His ideas are actually pretty good, though I don’t agree with everything. Ron Paul would be the only one to change things. If you vote for any of the other candidates, you will get four more years of the same.

      • just the fact that you feel the need to call people names shows the level of your mentality. you sound brainwashed.

  4. I think Dr. Paul saw that it was not live. As such, it could have been edited to FOX’s agenda. But, if you listen hard, you can hear Dr. Paul in the other candidates……sort of. Dr. Paul is making a very big difference.
    Go Dr. Paul…2012!

  5. If you take all the candidates who have been in Public Office and remove those who are now “formers”. Now you have a smaller field to choose from.
    1) These elected officials are still seen favorably, or they would not STILL be in office.
    2) I also believe that in order to be “Commander in Chief”, one has to have had a Commander in Chief.
    Who’s left?
    The 2 Candidates from Texas.
Dr. Paul has proved his record for 30+ years.
Governor Perry has enjoyed good hiring environment with proper management and higher getting employment numbers.

  6. Anyone know if this will be posted on you tube? I looked but found nothing. I need to be able to download and watch it
    Thanks!

  7. It said at the beginning, he was in Nevada campaigning and was invited, but he declined. I support Ron Paul 2012 but people making comments like that one make us all look stupid.

  8. I am sorry Ron Paul chose not to participate. He makes some points that resonate with the American people; but his assumptions about Iran and our foreign policy are assumptions that are not related to facts and if proven wrong could be deadly. How does he know Iran is not a threat? How does he know they are just bluffing and posturing? Is it possible that his assumptions are wrong? If he is wrong, it is a big wrong, on too big to imagine. Although I agree with him on his stand on some issues. His blame America and foreign policy assumptions are too big of a hurdle for him to get my support.

    • And thats the problem with our proud society. Thinking America is NEVER to blame. We are the greatest nation, but even we can make screw up. (coughs) “Iraq”. Ron Paul understands that. His modesty gets my vote.

  9. They are probably correct to call these forums, since there is no debate or challenging themes. This one in particular was so soft-ball that it had the appearance of being a political version of the Miss America Pageant.
I liked Gingrich’s response regarding why Romney should be challenged regarding his “private sector” experience and how that impacted regular people. Anyone that hasn’t seen “King of Bain” is missing a real eye-opener.

  10. For those asking about Ron Paul. Ron Paul decided not to come on his own. For those thinking Ron Paul has a great record:

1)Ron Paul wrote over (600) pieces of legislation in 30+ years
2)Of those (600), only (4)made it to the floor to be voted on
    3)Of those (4) only (1) passed

So in 30+ years of service, Ron Paul has only been able to PASS (1) piece of legislation. Is this really someone who can get things done? No!

Also, before you start your conspiricy comments, the people voting on these pieces of legislation were ELECTED by the people and for the people. It is the PEOPLE who did not pass these pieces of legislation.

    Sincerely
A former Ron Paul supporter and campaigner (last election)who saw the truth before it is too late.

    • Ron Paul specifically tries not to increase spending or government influence, so measuring his success by how many times he’s increased spending or government influence is a really ill-informed test of his accomplishments. This is more evidence of Ron Paul’s success than his failure. Also you imply that the political careerists in congress fulfill their duty as representatives. This is a shortcoming that is constantly being proven by both the right and left, and is a widely accepted criticism of congress. You can probably find some real complaints about Dr. Paul and you can disagree with his principles and ideology, but please attempt to understand his positions before criticizing in the future. I would have assumed that you understood these ideas considering your previous association with the Paul campaign.

      • Hello me,

I do understand his ideas, since as you said, I campaigned for him.

You said: ” so measuring his success by how many times he’s increased spending or government influence is a really ill-informed test of his accomplishments.”

Perhaps you misunderstood what I was trying to communicate. Ron Paul wrote these pieces of legislation that were not passed and that could not get enough support to even make it to the floor *to be* voted on. This has nothing to do with whether Ron Paul voted yes or no on someone else’s legislation that did make it to the floor to be voted on.

I *love* much of Ron Paul’s economic policy…however…economic policy will not matter one iota if Iran is able to finish developing a nuclear weapon. Their hate for both America and Israel is no secret and they have stated outright that they WILL use a nuclear weapon against America. Not to believe Iran would be foolish. Ron Paul’s foreign policy is extremely naive. This doesn’t mean I am Ron Paul’s enemy or your enemy, it means I am discerning and can see that more harm would come to America through his foreign policy than the good that would come to America through his economic policy.

Sincerely a former Ron Paul Campaigner.

        • Come on! You really think Iran has a death wish. Remember that other place we were so worried about WMD. Like President Bush said fool me once, well any way you can’t fool me twice; or something like that.

The US spends more money on (defense?) then all the other countries on earth combined. Someone needs to remind us of these things, and Paul does.

We spend so much for needless bluster.

    • Your right Rachel, in just 30 years he wrote 600 peaces of legislation — what a hard worker and a leader. Paul should be elected for president so that he can pass his legislation without interference.
Sencerely emphasis it all you want but no one cares that your his former campaigner.

    • Rachel, if you do your research on the bills Dr. Paul attempted to bring to the floor you would see that each one represented an attempt to restore empowerment and protection to the American people over governmental control. After knowing this, is it so unbelievable to understand why these never made it to the floor based on those who don’t want the American people to regain power? You can read each one here: http://www.govtrack.us/billsearch.xpd?sponsor=400311 also research the bills the other candidates sponsored (many, many passed) and you will find just what they represent….and it ain’t the people of the country.

    • I have to disagree. Though Ron Paul wants to bring our troops home doesn’t mean he will never go to war. War should be the last resort and he is not opposed to having a war if necessary. I have heard and read enough from the mainstream media and alternative media (two completely different things) to come to the conclusion that maybe we shouldn’t be over there. I would like to give that a chance. Wouldn’t you?

      • Shelly,

I don’t think going to war or not going to war is what Mike is talking about. If Iran is successful in manufacturing a nuclear weapon, which they are close to accomplishing, it won’t be a matter of ‘going to war’. Iran has stated outright that they will use a nuclear weapon against the United States and Israel. Not to believe Iran when they say they will use a nuclear weapon against us is extremely naive. We should do everything in our power to stop them from accomplishing their goal and not wait around to see if they do *what they have already said they will do*. This is a matter of prevention, not war.

        • “If Iran is successful in manufacturing a nuclear weapon”….

Nice comment Rachel. You’re repeating the Newt Santorum Zionist Media.

          Another terrorizing / warmongering threat.

Iran is more peaceful than you “OMG IF IRAN…” propaganda artists.

Iran’s president is more peaceful & eloquent than U.S. presidents.

Your talking point Lies are useless Rachel.

          • Hello John,

This is just a quick video link I pulled up for James. If you are interested, you will be able to find further information with a little research on-line. But first below is a link to an article with these quotes from Iran’s president Ahmadinejad.

“And God willing, with the force of God (Allah) behind it, we shall soon experience a world without the United States and Zionism,”

“Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation’s fury.”

Both of the quotes above are Ahmadinejad’s *own words* and *not* the words of the Ayatollah Khomeini the founder of Iran’s Islamic revolution, who said that Israel “must be wiped out from the map of the world.” (still statements coming out of Iran against Israel and the U.S. just from yet another source)

            http://edition.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/10/26/ahmadinejad/ (one article on this)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hLDjGdJC0Q&feature=related (video Ahmadinejad re US and Israel.)

:39 says US is a Satanic power and that with God’s will, will be annihilated.

Please notice the (3) flags being burned by Iran at 1:12 in the link below when Iran attacked the British Embassy 2011.

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VfbZfggl_c

The following are some older quotes made by Iran’s president Ahmadinejad by realite-eu.org

“We don’t shy away from declaring that Islam is ready to rule the world.” 1
“The wave of the Islamist revolution will soon reach the entire world.” 2
“Our revolution’s main mission is to pave the way for the reappearance of the Twelfth Imam, the Mahdi.” 3
“Soon Islam will become the dominating force in the world, occupying first place in the number of followers amongst all other religions.”4
“Is there a craft more beautiful, more sublime, more divine, than the craft of giving yourself to martyrdom and becoming holy? Do not doubt, Allah will prevail, and Islam will conquer mountain tops of the entire world.” 5
“What is important is that they have shown the way to martyrdom which we must follow.” 6 [President Ahmadinejad’s comments on an aircraft crash in Tehran that killed 108 people in December 2005].

This is only a small bit. If you really want to research this, the history of the MiddleEast against Europe/the West goes back many centuries. This is a struggle on the East’s part for world domination that was only slowed down recently in the broad picture in time.

        • Rachel, you said, “a nuclear weapon, which they are close to accomplishing”. Where did you get this information? Do you know something nobody else knows? Don’t listen to the propaganda the warmongering politicians are trying to push upon an uneducated public. Additionally, never at any time did Iran state they would use a nuclear weapon against the United States and Israel, absolutely never. This started with Bachmann and should have ended there. At least do a little background research on this subject and you will find the truth. Please don’t eat the propaganda they are trying to force feed us all, they are lies. The Internet is a wonderful thing, use it while you can before its gone e.g. Cybersecurity and Internet Freedom Act, CIFA – Liberman (D) sponsor.

          • You realize that you also have received your information from a *source* somewhere? How do you know your source is correct? So anyone who believes what Iran’s own President has said about Israel and the U.S. is a warmonger? Could they not just believe what President Ahmadinejad has said about us and take his having a nuclear weapon as a great and impeding threat? I posted some links with speeches and quotes. I have known about the MiddleEast’s agenda against Europe and the West for many, many years, far before this election or the recent media. This did *not* start with Bachman. This is centuries old history. Read about the Ottoman empire, the Turks. They do intend to start a world war at some point as their eschatology (study of end-times) says that world war must take place before their messiah/mahdi can come. This is no secret, you can research their sacred books.

Yes, the internet is awesome. Love the non-regulation.

I have nothing against Paul’s economic plans, or even much of what he says or stands for…it is his foreign policy that will have us attacked and defeated quickly…and many Americans are unaware what Islam/Jihad is really all about. Please research this independently, meaning from their books…not their quotes *to* Western media. Research the Ottoman Empire.

            Take care

          • Rachel, my *source* comes from the IAEA and from the mouth of US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta. He was interviewed on “Face the Nation”, Jan 8, 2012. Panetta said, “Are they trying to develop a nuclear weapon? No. But we know that they’re trying to develop a nuclear capability. And that’s what concerns us,”. If these sources don’t convince you I don’t know what to say. Some people believe what they want to believe regardless of what the “in-the-know” experts know to be true. Note: Iran is one of the original 43 signatories to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Here’s a Washington Post article referencing what Ahmadinejad really said about Israel: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-checker/post/did-ahmadinejad-really-say-israel-should-be-wiped-off-the-map/2011/10/04/gIQABJIKML_blog.html. Also, here’s a link to a transcript of an interview with Ahmadinejad: http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/09/full-transcript-interview-with-president-mahmoud-ahmadinejad-of-iran/
Just an fyi, I’m not a Ron Paul supporter.

        • Mike, just an fyi, in his statement, Ahmadinejad was trying to quote what Khomeini said in a 1980’s speech which translated to “This occupation regime over Jerusalem must vanish from the arena of time.” Ahmadinejad slightly misquoted Khomeini by saying “page of time”. The original speech was about 30 years ago. I remember all the political Whoopla it stirred up back then. For all intents and purposes back then, Khamenei was consistent, stating repeatedly that the goal is not the military destruction of the Jewish state but “the defeat of Zionist ideology and the dissolution of Israel through a ‘popular referendum.’” Read Washington Post source above.

          • Roberto,

FYI, this is what I said in my originally:
            ———————————————-
these quotes from Iran’s president Ahmadinejad.

            —————————————–

The president of Iran *has* spoken against the United States with *his own* mouth. The Ayatollah is a *second source* that spoke out against the U.S. and that the president of Iran *quoted* as a positive source! It is interesting to note that he didn’t just quote this Ayatollah on one occasion but *repeated* to quote him later….after….all of the negative press.

        • I AM SO TIRED OF PRETTY SPEECHES . RIGHT NOW I WANT TO HEAR THE BELIEFS AND HOW THE CANDIDATES STAND ON ISSUE FACING US. IN THE GENERAL ELECTION WE CAN HAVE THE SPEECHES. WE. NEED A GUTSY PRESIDENT THAT BELIEVES IN AMERICAS CONSTITUTION AND FOLLOWS GOD . HE NEEDS TO BACK ISRAEL. WE DONT NEED TO FIGHT WARS UNLESS WE ARE COMMITITED TO WINNING. BUT A STRONG MILITARY IS IMPORTANT TO PEACE. I LOVE AMERICA AND I VALUE LIFE. i believe homosexuality is a sin just like adultry but i believe its not the governments buissiness and gays are equal but the word marriage should be spared from that. i would have bombed the nuclear site in iran in 2006. perhaps a less violent way of rendering it dissabled. but a peacefull answer would be better. if we bless israel we will be blessed i am not against muslim people they have the right to die unsaved if they wish but i pray and witness to my muslim friend. no group is all good or all evil. i lie perry gingrich and romney. i will vote for the winner most likely in the general election

    • “Threat to our national security”

Woah there Mike, way to repeat another terrorizing slogan created by the propaganda artists.

It’s interesting that every argument against Ron Paul is made by someone repeating Pentagon Propaganda.

  11. Lot of Ron Paul haters on here, but hey I don’t blame him for not going since Fox likes to edit their videos and distort the information. If he had went it would have been a waste of time. Just more of the neo-cons babbling about how defending our country is a bad idea and bombing other countries is a good idea. There’s only so much nonsense I can take. Then people like commenter Mike are so numbskulled they can’t think for themselves. That or maybe Mike would call his neighbor a hermit because his neighbor doesn’t throw rocks through his window.

    • So because I believe in being a strong military power I can’t think for myself. I didnt rule out everything Ron Paul says, just his foreign policy. We live in a dangerous world and it doesn’t appear he recognizes that. But thanks for evaluating my personality from one sentence.

      • Mike,

I completely agree with your sentence. I don’t think the Ron Paul supporters on here are actually researching as much as they would like to think. Most of the information they get is from Ron Paul headquarters. I AM a former Ron Paul supporter/campaigner who woke up when I got more information.

Most people in America are completely oblivious to the Ottoman (Turkish) Empire and their attempts at world dominion for centuries and how they were eventually stopped/delayed by England. They are rising up again in hopes of world domination for Islam. Islam says World War must occur before the Mahdi (Islamic Messiah) can return. World domination through World War is their goal. The very definition of Jihad is holy war waged by Muslims against infidels (any non-muslim).

If Iran accomplishes it’s goal of a nuclear weapon, Ron Paul’s economic plan won’t help us.

        Thanks for your comments today.

      • No, I do not believe invading Iraq made us stronger…but what is done now is *done*, there is no *undoing* it. Iraq was invaded. This is reality and has *nothing* to do with my statements about Iran, a country that has said they want to destroy both the U.S. and Israel. So now what do we do…ummm…let me see….I know! Let’s withdraw all of our troops *out* of Afganistan and leave it wide open for Iran to come in and set up their government!!!

        • I’m sorry, what part of Ahmadinejad saying:

“And God willing, with the force of God (Allah) behind it, we shall soon experience a world without the United States and Zionism,”

“Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation’s fury.”

          and

” The US is a Satanic power and that with God’s will, would be annihilated.”

          …are you not understanding?

Iran’s leadership has stated on multiple occasions it’s wish’s for the outcome of the United States of America. Iran is developing a nuclear weapon. They have said the want to ‘wipe Israel off of the Map’. How do you think that could be accomplished? They also said that, “Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation’s fury.” Fire….burning…America DOES recognize Israel and is Israel’s greatest ally. Are you seriously not able to understand what they are saying?

          Goodbye

        • Rachel, can you share your source that says the government of Iran wants to destroy both the U.S. and Israel. I can’t seem to find it anywhere on the Internet or elsewhere. If its Wikipedia please don’t quote it as its a non-authoritative source.

          • I already did, it’s in the links I sent, or in the video. You can see what news agency (AP, Reuters, etc.) the video is from or where the article comes from if you take the time to actually read everything I sent. If you sincerely want to find it you will. If your intention is just to believe what you already believe you will. If you want to know what Iran thinks of America, you will.

        • Rachel, please note the “And God willing” part. Nothing man can do could stop it if the force of God is behind it, absolutely nothing. The first sign of wisdom is the fear of G’d. Without the fear of G’d there are no boundaries between what is acceptable and what is not. This is the truth of Torah wisdom referencing Balaam the wicked prophet.

          • Roberto, I am very familiar with Torah. The verse you referenced is from Psalms and has nothing to do with Balam. Also it is about fearing YHVH not Allah. This is what the verse actually says:

            Psalm 111:10

“The fear of *YHVH* is the beginning of wisdom and a good understanding have all they that do *His* commandments.”

Similar words are spoken in Torah in Job 28:28, Proverbs 1:7, Proverbs 9:10 and Proverbs 15:33.

ALL of these verses are speaking of the God named YAH, or I AM in English (I Am that I Am). They are *not* talking about the Islamic god named Allah. These are two very different gods. Ahmadinejad was talking about Allah, not Yah.

One of Yah’s commandments is to not have any other God before Him, not to worship any other God.

YHVH and Allah are not the same God.

  12. I don’t know whether you can think for yourself or not and I won’t claim to evaluate your personality from any number of sentences, but your understanding of foreign policy as “We live in a dangerous world and it doesn’t appear he recognizes that” is ill-informed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45vk0oe6ai0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MleqV8CVv4Y&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xI57hxAX4qk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QDIxhaEPN0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUrX9t9v3rY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0htOPbcwLA&feature=results_video&playnext=1&list=PLC424FF3074F0ADFE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHH-oW6D-fo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGTh2CjSlxg Veterans, CIA Chief, high ranking officers in the military support Ron Paul’s dangerous foreign policy, but a bunch of congressmen and Bill O’Reily oppose it. I’ll take my chances with the CIA.

  13. I thought the answers by most candidates were yawners. I did not hear anything new from anyone. Newt, as usual gave the most answers to the asked questions, with references. The people who were there were supposed to be undecided voters. Did anyone notice that one of the questioners said he supported Ron Paul? He asked “Ron Paul” support questions, and had support by a group in the audience. The group must have lied about not being undecided. This made Ron Paul’s supporters look bad.

  14. Wow…I am a Rick Perry supporter first of all because of his proven experience AND success due to his policies and moral character. When I read all these comments from voters criticizing each others comments and attacking each others views, Obama is over there laughing because he knows he has it in the bag because all of you has just lowered yourself to his level where he rules the day. Stick to the issues and what’s important and the reason we even have this democratic process to choose the best candidate who can lead this country.Rick Perry IS the complete package in my opinion

  15. Go Newt!

Anything done to Mitt will be but a minor foreshadow of the pummeling awaiting him at the hands of Obama.

We can’t win the presidential election, with “Obama Lite.” Romney will be a repeat of the ‘98 train wreck, just instead of McCain vs Obama, this time it will be McPain vs. Obama. McPain’s only vision is to notch another credential on his Resume. Even if, by miracle, he wins, America will be little better off, more business as usual. Yada Yada Yada.

This may be our last and BEST chance to change the destiny of America. We need a bold visionary with sweeping changes (remember 1994 Republican revolution) by a man that knows history and economics and can rally the pride and industry of our country. Newt will get us energy independent, rebuild our infrastructure, bring manufacturing and industry back to America, wage an effective war on terror without losing sight that China and India are our real competitors.

Anyone but Mitt. Well anybody but Ron Paul.

  16. What a softball session this was. None of these candidates have any idea of what to do to fix the real problems we have. Their words are just as blusterous as Ahmadinejad’s and also as meaningless, talks cheap, where’s the beef.

  17. Iran is developing nuclear weapons, huh? What is that called again?… I think those are called weapons of mass destruction. You remember that time when we were told that Iraq absolutely had weapons of mass destruction and how it was absolutely imperative that we stop them before it’s too late? My God, people, they are lying to you, using the same tactic they used 10 years ago and you’re so stupid that you actually fall for it again. Those asshole war-mongers depend on your fear of annihilation to get you to support things that don’t make sense.

Trick me once, shame on you. Trick me twice…fuck it, you know the rest.

  18. Where is Doctor Paul, and why are the debates mysteriously absent from television? Was football more popular, or what?

  19. FOX FNC sham show recorded not live
    Huckster’s non-debate CENSORSHIP

  20. Notice that Huckabee just had to mention that Ron Paul is campaigning in Nevada. Right, Huck: Ron Paul would rather hang out with all those gamblers and prostitutes who support him than appear with the decent candidates. Isn’t that what you’re insinuating? Well, it won’t work. The people of South Carolina are not the dumb rubes you think they are. More and more are learning that Ron Paul is the only candidate who defends the individual liberty of every American, and who has the integrity and economic smarts to save our republic.

  21. You guys are unbelievable. I love it when Paul supporters say, “Show me proof that Iran will use a nuclear weapon to wipe Israel and America off the face fo the earth”. You sound just like Ron Paul. So if your neighbor publicly said he wanted to wipe you off the face of the earth, and he was in the process of making deadly anthrax, would it be safe to say he may try to kill you with anthrax? Would you hope that would be enough evidence for the police to move in? None of you paul supporters know anything about the war in the middle east. I have fought in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Everyone in all of those countries hates Americans. They all want to see you dead. You are not Muslim so they would kill you in a second. Someone above even said Iran was a peaceful country and ANOTHER MIKE, you have the most rediculous statments of all.

“So you believe that the Supreme Council of Iran is suicidal, and will accept being annihiliated. ”

uhhhhh……..yeah, DUH. haha They are absolutely ok with dying to kill anyone that is not muslim. I know this. I have seen it first hand. Ask a muslim american if they were to blow up to kill a christian, would they go to heaven? They will have to answer “yes”.

    • Matt,

Thank you for your service and for sharing your *first hand knowledge* having served in the areas being discussed.

  22. Ron Paul is a kook who doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell or should I say Iran… If he ever got in, America would be perceived as more as joke than what it is now. I am an immagrant who loves this country but when I am other parts of the world, America is looked at like a Hollywood joke. Get out of your comfort bubble Americans and realize the world is bigger than you. If Mr Magoo Paul were to get the nomination, he has no chance against Obama and America would be more of a joke than Jon Stewart.

  23. It is amazing how people refuse to look at history and relate it to the world today. The middle east has been around the longest of all nations, we are talking about the birthland of Religion. America is literally only over 200 years old, yet we dictate to them and tell them how to run their lives and country. Do you not think that this is most of the problem that causes all of this? The whole contriversy over there is a religious war that has been going on before we even were thought of becoming a nation and then we decide to choose Israel as our ally, no wonder the rest of the middle east hates us. Imagine 2 fiends have a fight and out of nowhere another person just jumps in and sides with one over the other, do you not feel that the other is going to attack them both with words because he knows he can’t beat them both? More people have died in the name of religion than all the man-made wars put together. People it is time to wake up and realize that hatred against this country has been brought upon because of our power induced beliefs that we own the world. If we were to focus on this country and do what is necessary to take care of ourselves we will be a better country. In simple terms, how would you like someone to walk into your home and tell you the way you live is wrong and the way you raise your children is wrong and if you don’t change the way I tell you to, then I will just make you do it? Would you allow that in your own home? I don’t think so, and that is what our country does to others.

As far as our currency goes it is all flawed and was manipulated by the Federal Reserve, which was established when the Great Depression hit this country. People of power took their opportunity to exploit people and start a banking instution that would control the people. Your ideas and thinking are all influenced by the media and propaganda that is forced on you and most people just “go with the flow” because they don’t know any different. We are all slaves to a corrupt system that keeps us in line and doesn’t allow us to uprise against it. Wake up people. Our founding fathers stated that no banking institution could ever run this country and if it did it would be the end of our democracy as a whole. Do some real research and stop listening to the media for your knowledge as they control the way they want you to think.

  24. I do my own research, I have been to all of these countries. The fact that western countries do not live the way muslims expect us to live, is enough to make them hate us. Regardless of whether or not we sided with Israel. Your research on the ron paul website is not research. It is also media influenced garbage. Go spend some time in the middle east. It’s obvious you have not. I never said anything about the Federal Reserve. That is something I don’t have any real experience with. I would bet you dont either. Reading history books and googling does not qualify as ‘REAL RESEARCH’. If you are going to state your opinion and attack other’s opinion you have to state your qualifications.

    • “Reading history books and googling does not qualify as ‘REAL RESEARCH’.”

Wow! We should tell every student in America to throw away their textbooks and find time machines to learn about history? Or maybe better yet we should all take group trips to overseas and see everything directly? You might want to admit that statement was incorrect.

Denying that their culture has been around almost 2,000 years before us and we dictate to them how to live and wouldn’t cause a war is plain ignorance. I am not denying the way they feel, but notice this has not become a problem until the last 20 years or so? There is a reason for it, when we first started this country we weren’t at war with the middle east. Is a matter of fact of all our major wars the middle east has never been a threat. All of a sudden in the last 20 years or so it has. Explain why, since you are the expert over there. I’ll tell you why, there is money involved and we want to control that. Ask yourself if the middle east wasn’t the core of the oil supply would we have any interest there whatsoever? Just use your own intellect and think about it, instead of just being biased on what is going on now.

  25. Spot ON, well put, right on the money (Please excuse the pun). Mitt Romney AKA Bain Capital was exacted a human cost and misery is that incalculable including lost homes, divorces, and suicides. Mitt Romney is just another Bernie Made-off. Mitt Romney made-off with their money 🙁 . Mitt Romney uses a different scam with the same results. Mitt Romney’s Bain Capital is immoral and Unethical.

  26. I missed the debate on TV, so just watched this one online. To the lady complaining that her husband has been unemployed for 4 years and that they have been spending down their retirement……tell him to get off his lazy behind and GET A JOB! When I was laid off, I took the opportunity to do some traveling and get some technical training full-time. When I finished that and started actually looking again, I had several interviews and 2 job offers within 3 weeks. More than 6 months unemployed and you look lazy or employers assume there are medical or mental issues they need to be concerned with. I hope that he has taken the opportunity to build new skills, but suspect he is on some disability scam instead. Don’t expect politicians to cure laziness.

  27. [Hi 2012 EC: Spied this incredible shorty on the never boring net!]

    MORMONISM OKAYS PORN

    by Jared Young

Both Mormon and non-Mormon scholars are aware of a hard-core pornographic drawing in the “Book of Abraham” which is Mormon-approved scripture.
The same Book is part of the “Pearl of Great Price” which, along with the “Book of Mormon” and the “Doctrine and Covenants,” make up the LDS church’s “triple combination” in one volume.
The porn is found in Fig. 7 of Facsimile 2 in the “Book of Abraham” which shows two beings facing each other, which were described by Joseph Smith as representing the Holy Ghost and God the Father, the latter clearly showing an aroused male sex organ.
After Smith published this sketch in his newspaper in 1842, which offended Mormon sensibilities, the phallic portion was whited out for more than a century until the “restored” LDS church decided in 1981 to restore what had long been censored!
Equally shocking was the discovery that the “Book of Abraham” had nothing to do with Abraham or his God but was actually based on ancient Egyptian funeral documents depicting occultic obscene practices – and the original sketches showed an erotic phallus on both beings including the one Smith blasphemously claimed was the Holy Ghost!
For further information see “Book of Abraham” (Wikipedia). Also see Jerald and Sandra Tanner’s “Mormonism – Shadow or Reality?” which on 76 pages reproduces the original Egyptian X-rated drawings and shows how Smith altered them and created one of his many frauds. Highlights in the classic Tanner work can be seen by typing “Facts From Mormons (By a Utah Resident)” and “What LDS Leaders Say” on Yahoo.
(NOTE: The above exhibits the separation of religion and politics and DOES NOT promote any Presidential candidate! J.Y.)

  28. Listen Ron Paul would be horrible for this country the first thing he wants to do is kill our military having served our country i understand that taking our military out of other countries and closing our bases all over the world would make our country look EXTREMELY WEAK no way will i vote for someone that doesnt grasp the fact that taking away from the military is the worst thing that can be done especially in this day in age.
