Watch Live – Trump Rally in Fort Myers, Florida
Trump is scheduled to begin his remarks at approximately 2 p.m. ET. Rally schedules can shift, so the actual start time may be later. Watch the full event live below.
The Fort Myers stop comes as Donalds faces Democrat David Jolly in Florida’s open governor race. Trump endorsed Donalds early in the campaign, and Friday’s rally will be held inside the congressional district Donalds has represented in the U.S. House.
Florida voters are also deciding a U.S. Senate race between Republican Sen. Ashley Moody and Democrat Angie Nixon, along with several other statewide and congressional contests. Recent polling has shown some of those races closer than Republicans might normally expect in a state where the party has built a substantial registration advantage.
The timing also lines up with the start of Florida’s in-person early voting period. Local Republican officials have described the event as part of a broader effort to boost turnout across Southwest Florida during the final stretch before Election Day.
Friday’s appearance continues Trump’s aggressive October campaign schedule, which has included stops in Kansas, Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Iowa as Republicans work to protect Senate, House and governor seats before the midterms.
