Biden: “If Trump Wasn’t Running, I’m Not Sure I’d Be Running”

President Joe Biden, somewhere deep inside his head, still believes he’s the lone Democrat able to beat Donald Trump in a head-to-head matchup.

In those terms, what does this say about Biden’s view of his Vice President? If Trump wasn’t running, would Biden have served one term and passed the reigns to Kamala Harris in 2024? Since he’s not doing that, does it mean he thinks she’d get destroyed by Trump?

Harris a political dud so clearly Biden’s worried she’d screw it up and give the White House back to Republicans.

Truly curious words from the President, as the Washington Post reports:

President Biden said Tuesday he might not be seeking a second term if former president Donald Trump had not launched his own campaign for the White House.

“If Trump wasn’t running, I’m not sure I’d be running,” Biden said at a campaign fundraiser in the Boston area. “But we cannot let him win.”

The comments punctuated a stretch that has seen Biden speaking in increasingly stark terms about the threat he says a second Trump term would pose to American democracy. The remarks also come as Biden, who turned 81 last month, has tried to downplay concerns in the Democratic Party about his age.

There has been a slight but noticeable sea change in the message coming from Democrats in recent weeks.

The doomed “Bidenmoics” messaging which attempted to convince Americans that Biden’s economy is fantastic bombed out of the gate. There’s global unrest and domestic unrest, the Biden presidency is getting bogged down by failure after failure. What’s left of the positive Biden vision for America as households struggle with diminished savings, skyrocketing inflation, and a dull economic outlook?

Not much, which is why Trump is becoming the new boogeyman again and an ongoing existential threat to democracy?!?!?!?

The new argument from the White House and the never-Trump faction of the GOP is not that Joe Biden’s policies are amazing, it’s the hyperbolic fear-mongering that Donald Trump’s victory in 2024 could be the “last election you ever vote in”:

Give me a break. Is she serious?

She keeps a straight face the entire time so she must believe it after losing her primary by 37 points. Maybe if Liz Cheney had spent more time listening to the concerns of constituents rather than demonizing the president her constituents voted for, she’d still have a job in Congress.

Cheney and the Democratic Party are the same. America must vote for Joe Biden in 2024 and continue to suffer under garbage policies because the orange man is bad. That’s it. That’s the Biden campaign message in 2024.

There is nothing good to sell about Joe Biden’s socialist policies, so it’s time to dredge up the “threat to democracy” lie once again.

This is what Joe Biden is implying when he says he might not be running in 2024 if it weren’t for Donald Trump, he has to save the country again:

In the meantime, Biden has sought to frame Trump’s candidacy as an existential threat to the country. He has said Trump and what he calls “MAGA Republicans” are seeking to dismantle U.S. democracy and eliminate many of Americans’ fundamental rights.

During fundraisers in the Boston area Tuesday, the president warned of the restrictions he said Trump would place on abortion, and he emphasized the former president’s vow to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Biden also again raised the fact that Trump has called his political enemies “vermin,” saying the comments echo the language used in Germany in the 1930s, a time when the Nazis rose to power.

The Biden administration, via the Department of Justice, is currently trying to put Donald Trump and anyone who worked for him in prison. They are doing the very thing they are accusing Trump of wanting to do if he wins re-election. The Biden Justice Department has been more political than even the Obama Justice Department, and that’s saying a lot.

While Joe Biden takes retribution on his political enemies before our very eyes, Trump is the real threat, they claim. As Biden’s Justice Department targets parents at school boards, spies on churches, and arrests people for holding prayer vigils, it’s Trump–not Biden–threatening the Constitution, they say.

America is being assaulted daily by Biden’s failure at the southern border where untold numbers of illegal aliens cross unabated every day. The amount of drugs and deadly fentanyl being funneled into American cities is staggering. The human toll of sex trafficking has reached disgusting proportions, yet Donald Trump is the bad guy, according to Democrats and Liz Cheney.

So, that’s it. That’s the Democratic Party platform to prop up Joe Biden in 2024. It’s not vote for us because our policies are great, it’s vote for us because Trump is a bad, bad man.

Doesn’t look like Americans are buying it:
