For months, perhaps even years, the public was endlessly told that the Covid-19 shot would prevent transmission and infection of the Coronavirus.
Just get the shot and the pandemic will end tomorrow, that’s the precise message that was sent from public health bureaucracies, the federal government, and many state governments during the early months of 2021. The talking point from the White House became constantly lamenting Covid as a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.”
From a newly published study, authored by Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s formerly highest-paid government employee, and top infectious disease doctor, it’s clear that fighting respiratory viruses with a traditional vaccination model was a fool’s errand from the start, and everyone was in on the joke.
The full review, summarized by Cell, provides a deep look at specifically why anything called a “vaccination” will never be effective against a fast-mutating virus like the one that causes Covid-19:

Viruses that replicate in the human respiratory mucosa without infecting systemically, including influenza A, SARS-CoV-2, endemic coronaviruses, RSV, and many other “common cold” viruses, cause significant mortality and morbidity and are important public health concerns.
Because these viruses generally do not elicit complete and durable protective immunity by themselves, they have not to date been effectively controlled by licensed or experimental vaccines.
In this review, we examine challenges that have impeded development of effective mucosal respiratory vaccines, emphasizing that all of these viruses replicate extremely rapidly in the surface epithelium and are quickly transmitted to other hosts, within a narrow window of time before adaptive immune responses are fully marshaled.
There’s a lot of meat to this research paper but the bottom line, in layman’s terms, is that the reason we don’t have a vaccine for the common cold, and the reason the flu shot only works to a limited extent, is the same reason a vaccine against Covid-19 was never able to fully stop the viral transmission or prevent infection. It might help prevent the infection you encounter from becoming more severe than it could be, but it’s not going to stop you, as a Covid-vaccinated individual, from catching and spreading the virus to others. These viruses mutate too fast for a vaccine to be effective over the long term. Once the “fully vaccinated” masses started getting infected and realizing the vaccine wasn’t working as advertised, the narrative fell apart.
Why does this even matter, you ask?
It was the basis for President Biden’s vaccine mandate and the basis for which thousands of soldiers were drummed out of the military, government contractors were sent packing, and people lost jobs simply because they wouldn’t agree to accept the Covid vaccine. The premise was that you would be putting co-workers in harm’s way by refusing to be vaccinated against Covid because, once you’re vaccinated, the lie went, you were no longer able to become infected or transmit the virus to others. That premise, which was danced around often, was left to perpetuate and become the basis for mandating a medical procedure by executive order to protect everyone in the workplace. Remember OSHA’s involvement? This was a workplace safety issue that eventually got destroyed by the Supreme Court but not before a lot of damage was done.
The only problem is that the premise of getting vaccinated to stop the spread to others was a total distortion or outright lie. There were plenty of skeptics and medical professionals who were willing to speak up yet they were constantly shut down and told to stay quiet or they’d be losing their jobs as well. Practicing doctors were banned from social media platforms for daring to explain, in scientific and medical terms, why such a vaccine against Covid was a bad strategy and one that was wrought with pitfalls.
This data regarding vaccinating against respiratory viruses is not a new scientific revelation, it’s been well-known and well-documented for years, it’s a basic understanding of immunology, yet it was all thrown out the window in favor of a newly developed Covid-19 gene therapy sold under the designation of a “vaccine” so it could be brought to market quickly, avoid regulatory scrutiny, and avoid any recourse against the creators if it went badly.
Over at the Frontre Center for Public Policy, a Canada-based policy think tank, Jeffrey Tucker picks up on the study to expand further on other damning revelations Fauci now sees fit to admit such as fears over vaccine safety related to shortened development time:
There are profound safety issues to consider too. It takes a very long time to assure that. Fauci says:
“Considering that vaccine development and licensure is a long and complex process requiring years of preclinical and clinical safety and efficacy data, the limitations of influenza and SARS-CoV-2 vaccines remind us that candidate vaccines for most other respiratory viruses have to date been insufficiently protective for consideration of licensure …”
Further, vaccines certainly cannot improve on what even natural immunity cannot do:
“Taking all of these factors into account, it is not surprising that none of the predominantly mucosal respiratory viruses have ever been effectively controlled by vaccines. This observation raises a question of fundamental importance: if natural mucosal respiratory virus infections do not elicit complete and long-term protective immunity against reinfection, how can we expect vaccines, especially systemically administered non-replicating vaccines, to do so?”
This is why the flu vaccines “have never been able to elicit durable protective immunity against seasonal influenza virus strains, even against non-drifted strains…. their effectiveness against clinically apparent infection is decidedly suboptimal, ranging from 14 percent to 60 percent over the past 15 influenza seasons.”
From this point forward, Tucker takes a more cynical tone that while Fauci had all this knowledge, as did all the drugmakers and policy-makers, they proceeded with the production and massive onslaught of a public information campaign to drill it into every American’s head that they should take the shot or risk being labeled as irresponsible:
How precisely can we account for this fiasco? If they knew, and they did know, how is it that they put us through this horrible upheaval? The most dreadful theory is that they knew for sure that the virus would become endemic through exposure. But the point of “slowing the spread” and “flattening the curve” (lockdowns and masking), while trashing and nearly banning other therapeutics, was to preserve the customer base for the new experimental product.
That product was mRNA which is supposed to be a platform for future vaccines. This is why the J&J vaccine was taken off market.
Reading this study today you’d find it impossible to ever believe that public health officials and trained doctors would ever sell the Covid-19 vaccine as a way to immediately and strictly end the disease so long as everyone complied.
That logic was always flawed and yet, that’s exactly what Fauci and other health officials said on repeated occasions:
The Covid vaccine mandates were all based on a lie that was clearly known at the time to lawmakers and public health policymakers.
The damage has been done but Americans need to take notice and understand what happened over the past few years lest we be condemned to ever repeat it.
