An allegory for the way American politics has fallen off the rails since Joe Biden was inaugurated last year? Sort of a spot-on comparison. Everything seemed to be going along OK until the wheels fell off of Biden’s presidency and America is now paying the price.
The end result is quite brutal to watch in a way that makes you wonder how the handlers around Biden keep putting him in these situations.

News outlets immediately picked up the story to provide some further context and details about the President’s condition and the circumstances of the morning bike ride:
President Biden took a tumble off his bike as he took a ride near his Rehoboth Beach, Del. vacation home Saturday.
Secret Service agents swarmed the 79-year-old commander in chief and helped him get upright.
“I’m good,” Biden said, telling pool reporters that he had had trouble taking his biking shoes out of the pedals as he tried to stop and chat with well-wishers eager to meet his dog Commander.
Thankfully the President appeared unharmed by the incident though some type of medical follow-up will likely take place and provide further details on any minor injuries he may have sustained.
The grueling job of the presidency is enough for someone twenty years younger than Biden let alone a man with questionable health in his late 70s. Biden has continued to be active in his later years and enjoys the outdoors around his Delaware vacation home near Rehoboth Beach which is certainly laudable.
As some users noted, playing along with Biden’s ongoing propensity to blame Vladimir Putin for all his troubles, perhaps his bike was sabotaged:

Clearly, Putin did not sabotage the President’s bike, but there’s no independent confirmation of that yet from the White House.
Other users compared Biden’s bike fall to the American economy noting how badly inflation and gas prices are hurting growth and destroying household budgets. Unfortunately, for Biden, any misstep like this is an opportunity to point out how his own misfortunes line up well with the pain Americans are going through directly as a result of his policies.
