Full Video: Trump Rally From Casper, Wyoming (May 28)

The Trump Save America Rally tour headed out west this weekend with a stop specifically aimed at campaigning against Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney. The Wyoming Republican Primary takes place on August 16 and recent polling indicates that Cheney is in a deep hole with GOP voters.

This rally was designed to give Harriet Hageman, Trump’s endorsed candidate against Cheney, time to mount a challenge and unseat the incumbent as the sole Congressional representative from the state. So far, early numbers indicate that Hageman may cruise to an easy victory with Trump’s endorsement forcing consolidation of the candidate field.

Here’s everything you need to know for Saturday’s rally including start time, venue information, and how to watch the live stream online.

In addition to the rally, which will be a big media splash, Trump is also holding a fundraiser specifically aimed at raising money to defeat Rep. Liz Cheney.

There is no big secret that Trump and Cheney seem to despise each other, and it’s not surprising given they come from opposite ends of the GOP spectrum. Cheney, daughter of former vice president Dick Cheney, is deeply entrenched in establishment politics. Trump, during the 2026 presidential primary, toppled this establishment and continues to battle it to this day.

The current state of the Wyoming race doesn’t look good for Cheney with recent polling showing her at a 30-point disadvantage:

Embattled GOP Rep. Liz Cheney is down 30 points in a new survey of her August primary conducted by the Club for Growth, which is backing her opponent.

The poll, which provides perhaps the starkest illustration yet of the political peril Cheney faces this year, shows Wyoming attorney Harriet Hageman garnering 56 percent of the vote to the incumbent’s 26 percent in the GOP primary. A third Republican got 12 percent support, and just 6 percent are undecided.

Hageman was recruited and endorsed by former President Donald Trump in response to Cheney’s vote to impeach him last year alongside nine other House Republicans.

Wyoming is one of a handful of states with a single at-large Congressional Representative making this primary statewide race. Out of all the primaries this year, few will mean as much to Trump as toppling Liz Cheney.
