Justice Served: Kyle Rittenhouse Acquitted, Found Not Guilty on All Charges

After some 26 hours of deliberations and the potential for a mistrial due to prosecutorial misconduct, the jury found Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty on Friday of murder or endangerment. The rationale, of course, was that Rittenhouse acted in self-defense, and video evidence corroborated accounts from the scene to plainly provide a view of what happened back in August of 2020. Contrary to lies and misstatements by left-wing media outlets and politicians, including President Biden, Rittenhouse had no ties to white supremacy groups nor did he set out on some vendetta of justice intent on committing murder.

Here’s the video of the jury verdict announced in court and tense few minutes leading up to this moment:

As one analyst said, this verdict does not downplay or diminish the loss of life that occurred at the hands of Rittenhouse while defending himself. It does, however, indicate that jurors dispassionately felt that based on the ample evidence, he had no choice to take the actions he did in defending his own life.

Questions now await the city of Kenosha which heads into the afternoon and evening under fear of recrimination by looters and rioters over the jury’s verdict.

Immediately following the jury verdict, Democrats proceeded to politicize the outcome despite the fact that the justice system ran its course and the evidence did not support a homicide conviction:

Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, who is Black and a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, denounced the outcome.

“Over the last few weeks, many dreaded the outcome we just witnessed,” Barnes said. “The presumption of innocence until proven guilty is what we should expect from our judicial system, but that standard is not always applied equally. We have seen so many black and brown youth killed, only to be put on trial posthumously, while the innocence of Kyle Rittenhouse was virtually demanded by the judge.”

This type of rhetoric is irresponsible and dangerous. If businesses get burned down tonight in Kenosha, people like Lt. Gov. Mandela Barns are partially to blame for continuing to fan the flame and lies surrounding this case. The investigation into Rittenhouse was rushed, the prosecution was inept, and the judge did his best to keep the trial fair and legitimate.

The result is the best that could be determined based on the actual evidence, not the opinions of NBC News or left-wing journalists that did nothing but fan the flames of racism.

Wonder if President Biden regrets this now, along with the other rush-to-judgment squad members that refused to let the justice system play out?

Shameful. Just shameful from elected officials who should know better than to fan the flames of hatred and cause more violence and destruction.

If anything, the Rittenhouse incident and trial exposed more reasons why the public does not trust the media to provide a complete and accurate story. Anyone watching the trial could have been shocked as facts were stated which flew in the face of the false narrative that was constructive in the weeks and months following the incident.

On this side of the trial, the defamation cases brought against various media outlets and media personalities will be epic. Rittenhouse, with a good attorney, could practically bankrupt MSNBC and NBC News for their slanted and disingenuous coverage of the trial and Rittenhouse’s actions and motives. Twitter and the rest of social media have helped preserve their lies and distortions for eternity.
