2020 RNC Day 2: Start Time, Speaking Schedule, Live Stream (August 25)

Night two of the mostly-virtual Republican National Convention kicks off today with a new slate of speakers for primetime coverage this evening, including First Lady Melania Trump. Most of the speakers delivered live speeches or, in some cases, pre-recorded speeches from the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., which is a few blocks from the White House on Constitution Avenue. That venue will continue to be the primary setting for primetime speeches heading into the rest of the week with President Trump planning to deliver his nomination acceptance speech directly from the White House.

There were also some live events from the ground in Charlotte at the Spectrum Centre on Monday where President Trump made an appearance to delegates assembled for the roll call.

RNC Day 2 Live Stream

The RNC primetime events are scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm ET, with pre-show coverage starting earlier at 7 pm ET:

Primetime speaking slots are between 8:30 pm and 11 pm ET, but no specific speaking time has been provided by the Republican National Committee. The RNC opted to start their night of primetime a half-hour earlier than the DNC to try and capture more audience.
