Mitt Romney picked up delegates in 5 more states on Tuesday in California, New Jersey, South Dakota, New Mexico and Montana. The remaining primary will be on June 26 when Utah, the last state on the primary calendar, will vote.

Mitt Romney swept the five states holding Republican presidential primaries on Tuesday night โ California, New Jersey, South Dakota, New Mexico and Montana.
The victories add to a delegate total that already exceeds the number needed to win the nomination. Romney has 1,398 delegates. He needs 1,144 to win the Republican nomination at the party’s national convention in August.
Romney will take on Democratic President Barack Obama in the fall.
After Tuesday, only one Republican presidential primary remains, in Utah on June?26.
Utah will wrap this up for Romney in a neat little bow. June will take us into the slow summer months where Romney and Obama will be sniping but, for the large part, the public won’t be paying much attention until August rolls around. We’ll be covering the race throughout the summer months as the rhetoric heats up.
