Elon Musk Makes ‘Prosecute Fauci’ Joke and Heads Explode

The Twitter Files is the story that just keeps giving.

So far we’ve learned that the FBI and Democratic National Committee (DNC) worked in tandem to ask Twitter to prevent the Hunter Biden laptop story from seeing the light of day and that Twitter execs made up policies as they went along to justify their decision to ban former President Donald Trump.

The revelations coming from Elon Musk’s Twitter are damning for what can only be best described as the “deep state” within the government bureaucracy. What else do you call this coordination between big tech, big government, and the Democratic Party trying to elevate acceptable speech while banning and denying anything to the contrary?

The latest iteration of news coming from Twitter is related to Dr. Anthony Fauci. Not much is yet known but Musk teased more to come by putting out a joke in which he said his pronouns are “Prosecute/Fauci”:

When asked for a follow-up as to whether Fauci would be the topic of a future Twitter Files dump, Musk responded in the affirmative.

Mainstream media outlets are having a collective hyperventilation session over the thought of anyone attacking Fauci or, perhaps more offense, making a joke at the expense of transgender pronouns. CBS News positioned Musk’s tweets as “targeting” Fauci:

As Dr. Anthony Fauci prepares to step down as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the end of the year, the leading immunologist faced derision on social media over the weekend from tech billionaire and Twitter CEO Elon Musk.

“My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci,” Musk tweeted on Sunday. The jibe, shared largely without context, drew support from prominent conservatives such as right-wing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene — whose account was reinstated with Musk’s decision to end the platform’s COVID-19 misinformation policy last month, and who has been criticized in the past for her own comments mocking the use of gender pronouns — as well as backlash.

While Musk’s tweet acquired roughly half a million likes in its first few hours online, health experts like Peter Hotez, a vaccine scientist and virology professor, defended Fauci’s work at the forefront of U.S. pandemic mitigation efforts and urged Musk to remove the post.

The majority of Covid misinformation over the past couple of years came from government agencies that were tied heavily with pharmaceutical companies or tied heavily to a political agenda, neither of which left any room for the truth or open debate. Twitter accounts from legitimate health experts and doctors were repeatedly banned if they questioned the vaccine efficacy or questioned the origin story of Covid-19. We now know much of that debate was legitimate as the vaccine was oversold in terms of stopping the spread and Covid-19 likely originated in a Chinese lab thanks to American taxpayer dollars.

The CBS story quotes several prominent Democrats attacking musk for daring to disparage Dr. Fauci though Musk seemed unmoved:

About an hour before posting the tweet about Fauci, Musk shared a meme with a caption that read in part, “Just one more lockdown,” which could be interpreted as an allusion to Fauci’s advocacy for safety mandates that public health specialists, including those at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, agreed were helpful in slowing the spread of COVID-19 before vaccines became widely available.

So much of what happened in the early days and even the late days of the Covid hysteria will never truly be fleshed out. Fauci admitted time and time again he changed his opinions and views not on science but on what public opinion demanded. Furthermore, for someone who was supposed to be at the forefront of infectious disease, he sure was caught off guard in March of 2020 with only weeks removed from telling people not to panic, and that Coronavirus is nothing, to calling for a national lockdown of “15 days to slow the spread.”

The corruption is being exposed out in the open for everyone to see thanks to Musk. The connection between big tech, government agencies, and public policy is a sick and twisted relationship where free speech doesn’t exist and Soviet-style talking points are enforced as the only acceptable pattern of thought.

What will we learn about Fauci’s connection to social media censorship? Stay tuned.
