Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis headlined a rally in Arizona on Sunday to support GOP candidates Kari Lake and Blake Masters.

Lake is running for governor to replace the term-limited Republican Doug Ducey and Masters is challenging Democrat Mark Kelly for his U.S. Senate seat.

The event is sponsored by Turning Point Action and dubbed the “Unite & Win” rally. This is the first of several upcoming rallies in key battleground states where DeSantis will be stumping for Trump-backed candidates in various contests.

Here are all the details including the live stream, start time, and how to watch.

Event Schedule

All times MST, unless noted

  • 5 pm – Doors Open
  • 6 pm – Event Begins (9 pm ET)

The theme of these events is to unite the Republican Party with the goal of building the red wave before November.

With the current divides existing among pro-Trump and basically anti-Trump factions in the GOP, DeSantis is in a unique position given that he has appeal in both camps.

Standing firm with candidates like Lake and Masters also gives him an edge down the road if and when he needs some support in a potential 2024 GOP primary, that’s unless Trump runs too, of course.

The Arizona rally with Turning Point Action will be the first of several “Unite & Win” rallies on the schedule:

Each of the candidates that DeSantis is rallying for has been endorsed by Trump, with the exception of Herrell, though she previously won the former president’s support during her successful 2020 campaign for her House seat.

DeSantis’s travel plans are the latest evidence of his growing sway among Republican voters nationally amid speculation that he could mount a 2024 bid for the GOP presidential nomination.

But notably, the rallies don’t put him in direct contention with Trump, who is also said to be weighing a comeback campaign of his own.

While DeSantis has traveled extensively this year for various political events, the rally schedule marks something of a shift in his strategy.

As noted above, there will be more rallies with DeSantis coming up on August 19 with an event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and an event in Youngstown, Ohio on the same day. See the Turning Point Action website for more details.

Tonight’s event kicks off around 6 pm MST (9 pm ET) in Phoenix.
