CNBC Host Jim Cramer Proposes National Vaccine Mandate Imposed by the Military

It sure does feel as though some people are becoming more and more unhinged and desperate to push a full and total authoritarian bent on the country with forced Covid vaccination at the tip of a gun. This time, it’s nutty CNBC host Jim Cramer calling for a national vaccine mandate on every man, woman, and child in the country, administered by the U.S. military with a threat of unnamed consequences. The end result is unclear if you resist Cramer’s vaccine mandate utopia whether threats of imprisonment or death await those who can’t prove their exemption status? He hasn’t thought that far yet.

When people say slippery slope, this is what they’re talking about. First, it’s a national vaccine plan where people are “encouraged” to participate. If there isn’t enough compliance, then it moves into other ways of arm-twisting, such as withholding services like new New York City where unvaccinated citizens can’t visit restaurants or go to the gym. If that doesn’t work well enough, then there are government mandates on employers to force workers into compliance.

Biden’s mandates are being shot down in court, so here’s a new idea from a seemingly stable individual with no medical background on a show titled “Mad Money.”

Vaccine mandate by a threat of fines or imprisonment from the United States Military? Really? Behold this cable news gem:

He can’t possibly be serious, right? Biden is already losing legal challenge after legal challenge trying to use the existing federal bureaucracy to force mandatory Covid vaccinations. How on earth would courts allow a legal precedent of using the military, a force designed to fight off foreign threats, as a means to administer injections into unwilling civilians? How did Jim Cramer even get to a point in life where uttering this tripe seemed like a smart and considered plan to propose?

Cramer likens the battle with Covid to outright war. You either join the fight by getting vaccinated, or you need to be in court proving your status as a “conscientious objector,” as would be the case during a draft if you resisted joining the service.

So much emphasis has been put on vaccinations as the key to defeating Covid, yet breakthrough cases remain an issue and vaccinated individuals seem to be able to spread and catch the virus as well, meaning they can also create and spread variants.

This type of rhetoric hearkens back to Biden’s line of “losing patience” with unvaccinated Americans which is why, he says, he was forced into mandates by executive order. Essentially, Cramer argues, none of these mandates go far enough nor do they have strong enough teeth to actually force all Americans to take the jab.

I can only surmise that such a move would be met with immeasurable resistance, even from many vaccinated Americans who do not believe the government should be imposing a mandate at the barrel of a gun, which is exactly what Cramer’s proposing.

The only likely mandate on all citizens could conceivably come from the state level since the federal government does not have the authority to force a national vaccine mandate. Biden has lost several court battles already trying to sidestep this fact and use statutes not designed to impose this level of burden on workers or citizens.

Cramer’s anger isn’t alone, there are surely other vaccine absolutists who feel the time for “encouraging” vaccination is over, it’s time for mandates and forcible injections if their fellow citizens will not join the war. The recent fear-mongering, even over the Omicron variant, seems to be waning and people are just sick and tired of being told every day to be fearful and submissive to the will of public health bureaucrats.

This kind of speech from people like Jim Cramer will not help the national conversation. Many will listen to this garbage and recoil at the thought, but a few will clap along in agreement.

What happens when America is 100% vaccinated and a new variant arises internationally that evades the current vaccines? Will Cramer call again for a national mandate, imposed by the military, and scold anyone who doesn’t participate? The broken logic here is the unproven assumption that total vaccination can completely stop the spread of Covid. So far, that remains to be proven, but we’re a long way off from stating as fact that full vaccination will totally eradicate an easily spread and constantly mutating virus.
