McAuliffe Campaign Staffers Caught Posing as Fake White Supremacists (Updated)

In a last-ditch effort of desperation, five staffers associated with the campaign of Democrat Terry McAuliffe were caught playing the part of “white supremacists” standing in front of Republican Glenn Youngkin’s campaign bus at a stop in Charlottesville on Friday.

It started earlier this morning with a tweet from a local reporter alleging that the individuals standing in front of the bus were Youngkin supporters, though the circumstances were a blatant political setup:

It didn’t take long for other Twitter uses to begin identifying the individuals as all being associated with the campaign of Terry McAuliffe, and other Democratic Party organizations in Virginia.

One man was identified as the financial director for the Young VA Democrats. After being noticed, his social media accounts went dark:

Another man clearly resembles a McAuliffe campaign staffer that has appeared alongside the Democratic candidate several times:

The woman in the photo was also identified as being part of the Democratic Party of Virginia, another McAuliffe plant sent specifically to harass Youngkin in Charlottesville:

Images of the individuals standing by the bus have been heavily shared and praised among top Democratic activist accounts in Virginia, another clear sign that the McAuliffe campaign is behind the blatantly desperate political move:

The McAuliffe campaign is on the ropes in poll after poll, he has lost momentum and has nothing more to offer than sending his own staffers, armed with tiki torches, down to the Youngkin rally to remind voters what a sleazy dirtbag he is.

The best tweet summing up this issue, however, pointed out that Democrats enjoy using issues of race when it suits them:

Truly an embarrassing episode for Democrats everywhere and a new low for politics in Virginia. Voters will punish Mcauliffe on Tuesday and send him packing far away from Richmond.

Update

The Lincoln Project, a virulent group of washed-up “NeverTrump” Republicans claimed responsibility for the display today in Charlottesville. The group was clearly working in tandem with the McAuliffe campaign as almost all of the individuals standing by the bus with tiki torches have been identified and are on the payroll of or volunteers for the Democratic Party of Virginia or the McCauliffe campaign in some capacity.

Behold, the Trump derangement syndrome is still alive and well as the Lincoln Project, a disgraced group led by a pedophile, released a statement today:

The fact that McAuliffe’s campaign and staffers began circulating the photo immediately speaks to coordination with the campaign. A shameful act that, to be honest, is more embarrassing for Democrats than it is damaging to anyone.

One potential theory seems like a real possibility to keep the backlash from further dragging down McAuliffe’s failing campaign:

How anyone in their right mind thought this would be an effective attack against Glenn Youngkin is beyond comprehension. McAuliffe allegedly has top-notch campaign people working for him and yet they bought into this idea with the Lincoln Project, they should probably all be fired.

Either way, Virginia is going to fire McAuliffe again on Tuesday, no zany antics will save him.
