2018 Midterm Senate Race Ratings

There are a total of 33 Senate seats in play in 2018, with 24 of them being held currently by Democrats, and 9 being held by Republicans. This has created a great opportunity for the GOP to make inroads but the environment in 2018 may prove treacherous. Below you will find a list of each Senate seat up for election in 2018 and a rating of how that seat is currently tilting based on live RealClearPolitics polling data.

We have started the list by looking at the Safe Republican seats, then moving toward the Toss-Up column, then into the Safe Dem seats. The first column indicates the state, the second column indicates which party currently holds the seat, and the third column lists the Republican and Democratic candidates on the ballot for the November 6 General Election. See the bottom of the page for a definition of what each rating means.
