Remember 9/11

Ten years ago today, nearly 3,000 people lost their lives in a gruesome act of murder perpetrated on our nation by radical Islamists. A decade later, the memory of this horrific day still lives in all of us who witnessed the events or who were personally affected by them. For me personally, it is hard to watch the footage and watch the memorial coverage without being overwhelmed with emotion.

We shall never forget the selfless heroism of the first responders which helped to define this generation of Americans. May God bless the families who lost loved ones in New York, Washington and Shanksville on September 11th, 2001. We must also never forget the soldiers who have given their lives in the past decade fighting terrorism around the world and those who continue the fight today. Freedom and liberty will always prevail.
